Ms. Meskel's 6th grade ELA students recently won the Third-Circuit essay contest!

The essay topic was about the importance of voting. Fifth and sixth grade students were eligible to apply.

To write the essay, the class was divided into small groups and assigned subtopics to research. Each group created a writing based on their research and then combined their writing into a shared document where students worked together to edit the essay to meet the 500 word requirement.

Senior High School students attended the event to represent their clubs, activities and organizations. The Rock Orchestra and Drum Line also gave great performances.
