Butler Area School District's Kennywood day is Saturday, June 6, 2026! Tickets are $32.99 if purchased by May 18. The price will increase to $35.99 after the May 18th deadline.

The Intermediate High School Best Buddies recently celebrated World Down Syndrome Day with a meaningful learning experience. Mara Bell from the Down Syndrome Association of Pittsburgh shared a presentation about what makes individuals with Down syndrome “extra” special. The event helped promote understanding, inclusion, and appreciation within the school community.

The Butler Area School District's Board of School Directors, Al Vavro, president, Gary Shingleton, vice president, John Conrad, Jennifer Cummings, Jennifer Daniels-Wells, Phil Heasley, Terry Stivason, Nina Teff, and Cecilia Tomko, were selected as the recipient of the Tri-State Area School Study Council’s D. Richard Wynn Distinguished School Board Award!
This award is a prestigious honor recognizing outstanding school board leadership and governance throughout the region.
